I am a DevOps engineer with a passion for distributed systems and cloud computing. I have experience in building and maintaining Kubernetes based systems, CICD pipelines and monitoring technologies such as Prometheus, Thanos, Loki and more.

One thing I really enjoy? Breaking down how things work into bite-sized, digestible pieces while focusing on the fundementals. I believe that to build tomorrow’s technology, we need to truly understand the fundamentals behind what we are currently using.

This curiosity is what drives me to always learn, experiment and from time to time share my thoughts and learnings on this blog!

Experience

I am based and work in Bonn, Germany. I currently work at Deutsche Telekom on DevOps and cloud engineering topics. Before that I have worked on several freelance projects in both backend using PHP, Typescript and Python and frontend with TS/React and Vue.

Far from tech

Away from the tech world, I spend some of my time learning German, running by the Rhine river and just enjoying a good coffee and cake on a sunny day :).
